Bid Deposit Refund Policy
This Bid Deposit Refund Policy explains how **bid deposit** refunds are handled on AYLENSALE. It does **not** provide returns or refunds of **won goods**. Goods are sold under our Sale of Goods & No Returns Policy.
1. Eligibility
Refunds apply only to **bid deposits** marked eligible after a closed auction where you were not the winning bidder and no forfeiture event occurred.
2. One request per deposit
Only one refund request may be submitted per deposit.
3. Required information
You must provide accurate bank details, auction ID, identity information, and reason. Supporting documents (PDF/JPG/PNG) may be required.
4. Review process
Requests are reviewed by our team. Statuses include Pending, Approved, Rejected, and Paid.
5. Timing
Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer within a reasonable period after approval, subject to banking and verification delays.
6. Rejection grounds
Requests may be rejected for incomplete information, fraud concerns, winner status, chargebacks, or policy breaches.
7. No goods returns
This policy does **not** cover change-of-mind returns, condition complaints after collection, or refunds of hammer price. See Disputes Policy for limited misdescription claims.
8. Consumer and business users
Consumer users retain rights under applicable UK law relating to **deposit monies** only where they cannot be validly excluded. Business users accept commercial processing times and verification requirements.
