Consumer Cancellation Policy & Form
This policy applies if you buy as a consumer from a trader on AYLENSALE (including where AYLENSALE LTD is the seller). It covers Single Items, Buy Now pallets and lots won in our online auctions. It does not apply to genuine business purchases.
1. Your 14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods (or the last lot in a multi-lot order). You may also cancel after the contract is made and before you receive the goods. Full detail: section 13 of our Terms and Conditions.
2. How to cancel
Email support@aylensale.com or message us from your account, quoting your order or auction reference, before the cancellation period ends. You may use the model form below. It is enough that we receive your clear message in time.
3. Returning the goods
Return the goods to Warehouse 4, Old Manton Station, Oakham LE15 8SZ (or hand them over there) within 14 days of telling us you cancel. You normally bear the direct cost of return unless the goods were faulty or misdescribed. Uncollected goods need not be returned.
4. Refunds
We refund the price and any standard delivery charge you paid to us within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof of return). We may reduce the refund for loss in value from handling beyond what was needed to inspect the goods. Opening packaging to inspect a pallet does not on its own reduce a consumer's refund.
5. Faulty or misdescribed goods
This policy is about change of mind. Claims that goods are faulty, damaged or not as described follow the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our Sale of Goods & Returns Policy / Disputes Policy.
